How i love the color, burgundy… So i decided to feature it again on the blog, this time around i almost drenched myself in it..lol, only because i feel its a really beautiful color and it actually looks good against my skin tone.
I saw some snaps from fashion week and it got me a little interested, so i surfed the web and checked out some really cool designs which were featured during the show.
Basically, today’s look was inspired by one of the fashion week’s outfits. Not sure what to wear for your big Friday night out? Just give em’ the open shoulder turtle neck top!
It’s official shoulders are officially IN, and showing them has become cool. From straight up strapless numbers to one-shouldered dresses, tops and cut-out pieces, there are plenty of ways to rock this trend.
I got a really nice open sleeve turtle neck top which was custom made by Erica Elite collections and i already had a pencil skirt in almost the same shade as the top, so i paired them and voila! it looked so classy.
I paired a gold metallic belt to give the outfit a little bit of an edge and also accessorized with a brown sandal heel, a leopard skin print clutch purse and of course a hat in brown color. Lately I’ve been obsessed with hats, i just had to feature one yet again!
