The Courteville Weekend is a tradition that has been embedded as part of your number one e-business solutions (Courteville Business Solutions Plc) policy. This yearly fun weekend usually holds between Good Friday and Easter Sunday where all staff of the organization embark on a trip outside Nigeria, leaving work and family behind to bond and get to know more about one another. This year’s party was taken to the Republic of Benin, Cotonou precisely. The road trip to Cotonou was fun filled with staff catching up on things outside the work environment and they clearly enjoyed all the activities lined up for them.
The drive down to Cotonou took the most of the day and so Staff got into their hotel rooms to rest whilst having their mind set on going to the club for Karaoke and dancing. Some of the staff still managed to go for a swim while the others were catching a snooze or two, chatting and what have you in their rooms. The karaoke was filled with entertainment and the club gig was even top notch fun. The karaoke and club night hit a climax at about 4am (GMT) and the clan headed back to the hotel to get some rest before the activities for the day.
Day 2 was beach day and there was also a Courteville hosted beauty pageant where cash prizes were won by the top 3 contestants. The beach activities culminated with food, drinks, dancing and sporting activities before the family were chauffeured back to the hotel.
It was fun, fun and more fun in Cotonou and it was obvious the staff did not want the holiday to end. The trip back to Lagos on Easter Sunday was equally fun-filled and we thank the ALMIGHTY for journey mercies to and fro.
