The most anticipated football game of the year is here. This match can be tagged as the Nigerian version of the el-clasico played in the Spanish La Liga. Some may call it the sequel to Courteville’s 10th anniversary novelty match played in January, 2015 but as it is the staff of Courteville have only one thing in mind and it is revenge as they take on their perennial rivals (in footballing terms) the AutoReg Agents in a football friendly on Saturday February 13, 2016.
The Campos Mini-Stadium on 5, Joseph Street Igbosere Lagos Island would be set alight by these two warring teams hoping to own bragging rights in the months to come. The last match between both sides saw the AutoReg Agents narrowly beat Courteville FC (3-2) though the Courteville team took consolation in their overall performance on the day because prior to the game there was no training session whatsoever.
With Saturday around the corner, the Courteville team is back stronger and better from the last one, building up a proper team and training on a regular to avenge last year’s loss.
