One of the numerous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of your preffered business solutions company, Courteville Business Solutions Plc which is tagged Free Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme has successfully been concluded.
The 3 Day event which held from 25th April, 2018 to the 27th of April 2018 was not deterred despite the examination period which it (though an oversight) clashed with. The event still witnessed a high turn-out and feedback has been massive with a number of people raring to go for the next one holding towards the turn of the year 2018.
An initiative strictly driven by staff but always backed by the Management of Courteville was also carried out in collaboration with Rotary Club of Yaba Metropolitan.
The 3 day event which encompassed 2 days of learning and 1 day of practical was wrapped up with an exhibition where the participants displayed the skills they learnt on the final day. The training included Shoe Making, Makeup, Cake Baking, Making of small chops, Bead making, Photography, Digital Marketing, Catering e.t.c.
The exhibition declared was opened by Honourable Olayiwola Olawale, an Honorable member of the Lagos State House of Assembly Mushin Constituency 2 and also patronized some of the trainees. The Group Managing Director of Courteville also supported the efforts of the trainees by purchasing one, two or three units of all the items on display and doled them out as gifts. The other Executives of the company also bought goods from the participants.
Mr. Giwa Adeniyi Mustapha, the General Manager of the Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA) also supported the trainees with cash to actualize their dreams of being Entrepreneurs.
