Great Place to Work initiative to recognize Best companies is based on data representing over 10 million employees in over 45 countries and forms the most respected study of workplace excellence and people management practices.The findings are published annually in prestigious Business rankings across the globe, such as Fortune 100.
Last weekend, the award ceremony held at the Civic Center in Lagos gathering MD/CEOs, Managers and Heads of HR from companies all over Nigeria to mark the 4th award ceremony in Nigeria. This year also marks the 4th anniversary of Great Place to Work Nigeria, and 24th across the globe. From our first study to recognize great workplaces in the United States and Brazil, Great Place To Work has grown to become the foremost consulting firm on workplace culture around the world.
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. OkechukwuEnelamah, was the Keynote Speaker at the event. In his address, he described the award as “a welcome initiative in Nigeria and an avenue for inspiring greatness.” He further challenged organizations to“rise beyond the ordinary to pursue excellence.”
This year, 10organizations made it to the list of Best Companies to Work for in Nigeria 2016, amongst other category and recognition awards.
