Courteville wins BIG AGAIN at Africa’s Corporate Grammys
Nigeria’s number one e-business solutions company stepped up to be counted at the 5th Great Place To Work awards which held on Thursday the 31st of May 2018 at the Landmark Event Center in Oniru, Victoria Island. Courteville Business Solutions Plc was nominated in 3 categories and they came out tops in all and were also handed the highly coveted Hall of Fame award.
Mr. Kunle Malomo, the Group Managing Director of Great Place To Work Nigeria in his welcome address stated that the aim was to go global with the awards after achieving the feat of bringing African countries together in the quest of showcasing Great Places to work on the continent.
The theme of the night which was tagged “Better and Consistent” was delivered by Mr. Abimbola Ogunsenjo who encouraged all organizations to continually live by the Great Place To Work principles which comprised of camaraderie, respect, pride, fairness and credibility when carrying out their organizational activities.
Courteville was nominated in The Best Place for Learning and Development and also in The Best Work Place for Female in the Small and Medium Organizations categories carting away with both awards.
Courteville also finished number one in the Small and Medium Organizations category of the best places to work topping 9 other companies which included the likes of Cisco Egypt, SC Johnson, Sanofi, Weathermen and Co, Ideas House, MDS Logistics to mention a few.
This was an improvement from the last awards which held in April of 2016 where Courteville was named 2nd on the list of Great Places to Work in Nigeria but the beauty of this particular award for 2018 was being named the best place to work in Africa and not Nigeria.
To crown the big night your go to business Solutions Company was one of 5 organizations that was bestowed with the Hall of Fame award which was recognition for organizations that have made it on to the Great Place To Work awards list more than twice. Other organizations recognized in this category were Guinness Nigeria, SC Johnson, Microsoft and NSIA (a Pan African Insurance Company).
In all, Courteville went home with four awards and were the only company to have won in all categories they were nominated.
18 companies were also officially bequeathed with their certificates of being a Great Place to Work on the night.
